I have often used this dream technique when I am up against a tough decision or searching for answers from my Higher Self. I remember having read that Albert Einstein use to fall asleep at night with a physics problem in mind to awake with the solution. When I was in college doing hours of mathematics homework, I recall going to bed stumped by a math problem and dreaming of the three dimensional space in the corner of my bedroom where the walls meet the ceiling. That morning I knew I had the solution and sat down to complete the math problem. Albert Einstein is a hero of mine and I love being able to relate to him.
More recently I wrote the question, "what do I do about this ganglion cyst?" And did not get a clear message that night. I have had this cyst for a year and a half. Besides that it looks weird, sticking out from my otherwise flat wrist, I didn't pay much attention to it. Every once in a while I could feel a little pain and I was hoping that it would just go away. The decision to have it removed surgically was weighing on me. It would cost me thousands of dollars even with health insurance, which I just assume stop paying and save my money instead.
A week past before I looked at that note with the question written on it. I once again set into motion my intention to resolve this problem. I woke up at 3 am with pain around this cyst. I tossed a turned a while before I consciously realized that the pain at my wrist was keeping me awake. I took a dosage of ibuprofen and fell back to sleep. That morning I went to work. The ganglion cyst was calling attention to it. It was throbbing. Bursts of an achy pain surrounding the area. I called the orthopedic office and made an appointment for the following day. I had done internet research on these cysts and concluded that the best way to get rid of it was to have it surgically removed. There is a 10% chance it will return. I have not yet walked away from allopathic medicine. Having met with Dr. Joseph and discussed the ganglion cyst he told me that he could fit me into his surgery schedule "tomorrow because the surgical procedure will take only 15 minutes."
The cyst is gone. The incision is healing. And I feel good about my decision. I'm going to have medical bills to pay too. Give it a try, write down a question before falling asleep. The intuitive answer may come to you in a dream or another intuitive path like it did for me through my body. I asked for help in making a decision and I received help when my body responded with pain, telling me this cyst was not going away on its own. This is also an exercise in developing intuition.
